Jim Lundgren
College Planning & College Funding Counselor
Mr. Lundgren has been a financial counselor since 1999, focusing on College Planning/Funding since 2001. He has educated thousands of parents and their college-bound students throughout Southern California. Mr. Lundgren is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC), the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC), and California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA’s).
He was nominated for a Special Recognition Award and presented “The Pros and Cons of 529s” at the 2010 CASFAA Conference. Jim is the Southern California Regional Representative of the American College Planning Foundation, a member of the American School Counselors Association, and the California Association of School Counselors. Mr. Lundgren was recently named to the ACT’s Counselor Advisory Panel.

Ian Maxwell
College Funding Counselor
Ian is passionate about clearly articulating important college planning concerns, giving students and families valuable strategies to improve their college planning and college funding situation. Ian focuses on providing families and students with the type of education, tools, and strategies they really need to improve their quality of life throughout all phases of the college planning process.
Ian’s ultimate goal is to show families and students how successful college planning outcomes are absolutely dependent on having a comprehensive plan that addresses both near-term college finance concerns as well as long-term retirement planning issues. Ian is a graduate of Williams College, a former Officer in the United States Marine Corps, and has lived in the greater San Diego area since 1983.
